Tomi Astikainen is a strong advocate of creative commons and unrestricted sharing of knowledge to help humanity. His purpose in life is to use the gift of storytelling to spread peace, love and joy. He lives this purpose through writing, traveling and public speaking engagements.

He has a unique professional background that combines leadership and strategic understanding with non-profit work and social entrepreneurship. In his MSc studies he specialized in organizations and management. He has been working on both private and non-profit sectors as a leader, coach and consultant.

Tomi has facilitated trainings in more than 100 conferences, seminars and events in Finland, Estonia, Norway, Sri Lanka and Belgium: addressing multi-national audiences from small teams to delegations of 250 people in size.

In order to see life as it is, without the veil of social conditioning, he became a voluntarily homeless nomad in June 2009 and has lived completely without money since July 2010.
